About Us   D2G Records (Dedicated 2 God) was formulated in the spring of 2005 by Mr. & Mrs. Nero. The purpose of the label is to make a BOLD statement in the gospel music world. The display of excellence in every element of gospel music is a primary focus. In targeting a broader audience, D2G Records feels it is very important to raise the standard of video, audio and performance to make more of a notable impact in the industry. The goal of the label is to compete with mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop and Pop genres so that more lives are impacted by the good news of Jesus Christ. The mission statement is to creatively target the masses by exposing them to a positive message through innovative marketing & promotions. For example, more efforts will be placed on key areas: such as advertisement, television and radio. D2G Records is prepared to compete on a higher level so that gospel music is just as recognized and respected as secular music. It is our objective that the music released by this company will inspire and guide mainstream audiences…both Christian and otherwise. The first artist released on D2G Records is Niyoki (please refer to artist bio for more information on this artist). She is youthful, beautiful, full of energy and can relate to all types of audiences. She comes from a gospel background but also has experienced a secular lifestyle especially while performing with Prince. She has written and co-produced two of her own albums on the D2G Records label so far:  My Everything - released August 2006 and Rest - released August 2008.
